All on-line registrations will begin Monday, Dec 3, 2015 and close 8:00pm Feb. 20th, 2016.
On-site registration and packet pickup Saturday, Feb. 20at CMC from 5pm to 8pm. Packets can be picked up Sunday, BUT NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN ON SUNDAY.

- Turn onto Hwy 24 South at Minturn
- Follow Hwy 24 over Tennessee Pass to Leadville
Pueblo (153 miles)
- Take Hwy 50 West through Canon City and Salida
- Take Hwy 291 North until Hwy 285
- Take Hwy 285 North until Hwy 24
- Take Hwy 24 North until Leadville
Colorado Springs (130miles)
- Take Hwy 24 West through Woodland Park
- Continue past Buena Vista
- Continue on Hwy 24 to Leadville
CHECK-IN/BIB PICK-UP/TIMING CHIP ASSIGNMENT
Sunday morning check-in is 7-8:45am (don’t be late!) for bib and timing chip pickup. Located in the KW room of the New Climax Building at CMC, on the south side of the parking area, east of the start/finish.
NO 44, 22, 10k REGISTRATION SUNDAY!!!
Free Wax Clinic provided by Leadville’s own Tim Hill from Alpine Ski & Sport – Saturday, February 20 – 6pm to 8pm (Cloud City Ski Hut @ Dutch Henri Ski Hill)

PRE-RACE MEETING and COURSE INFO
To be given a few minutes prior to each start time.
44k start 9:15 a.m. – return approximately noon-1:30 p.m.
22k start time 9:45 a.m. – return approximately 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
10k start time 10:00 a.m. – return approximately 10:30 a.m. -noon
5k start time 10:15 a.m. and 1k kid’s fun race start time 10:30 a.m.
Aid stations throughout the course will be providing water, sports drink, and high energy fruit and snacks. Aid Station locations:
- 10k: 7k, finish
- 22k: 7k, 12k, 15k, 19k, finish
- 44k: 7k, 12k, 15k, 19k, 22k, 26k, 29k, 32k, 37k, finish
44k racers reaching the Animal Shelter turnaround after 12:00 p.m. will be asked to surrender their bib and will be given the option to ski back and short finish or shuttle back to the college. Official timing will be cut off at 2:30 p.m. If you don’t think you can finish the 44k in less than 5 hours, please choose a shorter event. This is for your safety and our sanity!
AWARDS and RESULTS
Awards will be held in the Climax Molybdenum Leadership Center starting at noon for the shorter races. Awards will be offered to the top 3 finishers in each category. Final results will have age categories listed.
The after party opens at noon and will feature home made soups, chili, and assorted goodies donated by community members. YUM!
