Phoenix Zoo Move & Groove

If you are passionate about animals, the natural world and fitness, then Zoo Move and Groove is the event for you!

Join the Phoenix Zoo for an entire day that celebrates getting healthy and staying fit...with an animal twist!

There will be a timed 5K race for runners and a 1 mile leisure loop for families/walkers.

Admission into the Zoo is included with your registration. After the race, enjoy animal yoga, Zoo-robics and more at the fit festival inside the Zoo!

Ages 2 and under are FREE to participate*

Be sure to register early to save! Pricing increases to $45 on race day.

*All participants with paid registration receive a shirt. If you would like to purchase an additional shirt, please do so during the registration process.

For a donation of $10 with proceeds benefiting the Asian elephants, you will receive a commemorative race medal, which will be given out at the Finish Line.

2018 Fundraising Campaign Details

Put your best trunk forward and help the Phoenix Zoo expand the Asian elephants’ habitat. After you register for the race, be sure to send your personal fundraising link to all your family and friends. It can be completely customized by you.

All donations must be received by March 9 at 5 p.m. The minimum fundraising level to be considered for the top three fundraising prizes is $500 (not including racing fees).

Race Day Information

Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7:00am at Papago Park (map).
- We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day
Cost of registration on race day will be:
- 5K/1 Mile - $45
- Ages 2 and under are FREE! Please note only paying participants receive an event shirt. You may purchase additional shirts during the registration process.
Please NO pets
We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
Check-in and the start/finish line will take place at Gate 2, which is located near the main ticket office to the Zoo.
