Heart Throb 5k

This 5k race will begin and end at the Vigo County YMCA!





We will have a pre-race packet pickup on Friday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Race Day packet pickup and registration will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Both of these activities will take place at the Vigo County YMCA

   


Online registration will close at noon on Friday the 10th if you miss online registration you can still sign up at either packet pickup!

All participants will receive:
- A Heart Throb race shirt*
- A custom Heart Throb bib#
- Post-race awards
- Post-race refreshments
- Access to the Vigo County YMCA Health fair
- Race Day Paper Results
- Online Interactive Results
- Online Finisher Certificate


*T-shirts are guaranteed for anyone registered by February 5th. We will order extras but they are not guaranteed after that date.

Registration Prices are:
$20 per individual until 1/10/2022
$25 per individual 1/11/2022 - 2/4/2022
$30 per individual 2/5/2022 - Race Day

If you are a member of the YMCA you can drop your child (6 weeks to 12 years) off at child watch from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. if you call ahead before Saturday to make an appointment to drop your child off.




Our main overall awards will be presented too:
- Fastest Couple - Top Couple
- Fastest Male - Top 3 Overall
- Fastest Female - Top 3 Overall

We will also have awards for the top 2 in the following age groups:
- Male - 14 & under
- Female - 14 & under
- Male - 15 - 19
- Female - 15 - 19
- Male - 20 - 29
- Female - 20 - 29
- Male - 30 - 39
- Female - 30 - 39
- Male - 40 - 49
- Female - 40 - 49
- Male - 50 - 59
- Female - 50 - 59
- Male - 60+
- Female - 60+

The fastest couple awards will be calculated by taking the total time of both individuals.

Parking will be held at the YMCA parking lot.

Race day registration, packet pickup, post race awards, and post race refreshments will be held in the Vigo County YMCA's warm gym!

Refunds will be considered by the race director but are not promised up until 2 weeks before the event. Refunds will not be eligible 2 weeks or less before the event as many of the race materials are bought and paid for and this event benefits a not for profit.
