This event will feature the scenic Busse Woods trails and some of the best craft brews in the industry. This race will begin 10:00 am for all runners/walkers
New This Year
***New this year, participants will have the opportunity to have a name of a friend or loved one printed onto our t-shirt. Names can be of those either In Memoriam or In Honor of. As we celebrate Memorial Day, we remember those who are not here with us today but who are forever emblazoned on our minds and hearts. We also keep with us those who continue to serve our country either in the armed forces or as first responders to ensure we continue to live in safety and protect our unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. HOW IT WORKS
This is a 5k Run/Walk suitable for competitive runners but also very suitable for walkers. You can expect 10-20% of runners to be competitive, 30% will be fun runners, and approximately 50% of participants are just there to walk the course and enjoy the festivities.
Parking and space are limited for this event, so we recommend checking in 30-60 minutes prior to start time.

LOCATION NOTE: Due to the increasing size of this event, we are moving to Grove 32 in Busse Woods this year. More info and notes to come before the race, but GPS location is "Busse Lake Beisner Road Access" or 646 Beisner Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Packet Pickup: will be at RAM Restaurant on Thursday, May 24 from 4-7:00 p.m. Skip the lines to get your bib and shirt, and also enjoy $3 PINTS FOR SAM RUNNERS at the pre-game party. Ram is located at:

Race begins at 10:00 a.m.
Busse Woods Forest Preserve (Grove 32)--Entrance is on Beisner Rd, just north of the intersection of Beisner & Biesterfield in Elk Grove Village.
Last Call: Beer Garden will be open until Noon.
