5K Run/Walk and 1K kids run to support Gotta Have Sole. Gotta Have Sole provides new shoes for homeless youth to call their own.

The Gotta Have
Sole 5k run/walk is on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 9:30am at the South Pavillion
at The Crossings of Colonie. Please note: there will be a kids 1k
starting at 9am. Participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before their race
start time
Registration
is $15 for the kids 1k and $29 for the 5k. T-shirts are guaranteed for all
participants that register on or before May 23.
The 5K, on a USATF-certified course, is fast, flat and
entirely within the Crossings Park on the bike path. Perfect for all abilities
of runners and walkers, plus families.
Gotta Have
Sole is an organization that provides homeless children with new shoes to call
their own.
Start/Finish
The
start and finish lines are located at the South Pavillion at The Crossing
of Colonie. The address of the park is 580 Albany Shaker Rd, Colonie, NY
12205. Participants should drive to South Pavillion.
Aid Stations:
There
will be a water station located at the halfway mark of the race.
Refreshments/snacks will be provided at the pavilion after the race.
Baggage Check:
There are no
baggage checks. Please leave your bags in your car, as the parking is very
close to the pavilion.
Registration and Packet Pickup
There
will be race day registration. Packet pick up will start at 8:30am on Sunday,
June 17, 2018 at the South Pavilion.
