Sadly, Tennessee ranks among the lowest in the United States for colorectal screenings and ranks among the highest for deaths related to colorectal cancer.  Money raised through the Greater Chattanooga Rump Run will benefit GCCCF as we re-invest your funds into local projects to help increase awareness of colorectal cancer, improve access to screening, and offer support to those affected by the disease. One hundred percent of all funds raised will remain local to support the mission of GCCCF in our fight against colon cancer.  The success of this event since 2011 has allowed the GCCCF to provide the following to the Greater Chattanooga community:

• Awareness of the importance of screenings through our billboard campaign, featuring local colon cancer survivors and celebrities emphasizing how “colonoscopies save lives.”
• Education and Advocacy through participation in various health fairs, community meetings, and events in and around the Chattanooga area.
• Support for those organizations providing no or low cost colon cancer screenings in Hamilton County for under-insured individuals who would not otherwise be able to access these screenings.

You can help! By registering to Raise Funds for Healthy Buns, you are helping us move the needle on increasing education on the importance of colon cancer screenings, as well as helping us reach community members in need to connect them with access to care. Here's how:

Setting Up a Fundraising Page

• You will be required to log in – either create an account with It’s Your Race, or log in if you have already created an account
• Fill in the required information
  • Account Type – select “create a new team” or “individual”
  • Click the “start fundraising” button at the bottom of the page

To Donate to a Team or Individual Fundraising Page Already Created

• Click on http://rumprunchatt.itsyourrace.com/Fundraising.aspx?id=6603, and click on the “donate” button, or go to www.rumprun.com and click on the “donate” button on the right side of the page
• Select either an individual or a team to receive credit for your donation
• Once selected, you will be prompted to enter a donation amount – this can be any amount at or above $10.00
• Click the  “continue checkout” button
• Enter the information requested, noting the fields that are “required”
• Click enter payment information to complete your donation
